About CREDAI-Pune Metro
The Confederation of Real Estate Developers Associations of India (CREDAI) is the apex body for private Real Estate developers in India. This National Body with 23 State level Associations and 189 City level member Associations across the country has over 11940 Members. It is Head Quartered at New Delhi. Many National & International Conventions are organized by the confederation. It takes initiatives in policy formation at the Central Government level.
CREDAI-Maharashtra i.e the Federation of Promoters & Builders Association of Maharashtra. It was established in 1994 (As FPBAM). It is member of the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India. Presently 51 district level associations across the State (excluding Mumbai) are its member. The total Membership of CREDAI-Maharashtra is around 2650 member developers compassing over 70% of the organized private development in the State. It takes initiatives in policy formation at the Government of Maharashtra. The CREDAI-Pune Metro is a member of CREDAI-Maharashtra.
Thus CREDAI-Pune Metro is part of State level Federation and National Confederation which has a capability to connect entire builder fraternity of the country. Due to such connectivity City level Association like us can approach Central and State Authorities in policy formation relating to construction sector. The strong connections with State and National confederation it has become easier for us to protect the interest of home buyers and all other stake holders where our voice is heard.
The CREDAI-Pune Metro is an Association of Builders and Promoters of Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad area. It was established in 1982 and since then it is operating for the promotion of Real Estate Sector in the region for the benefit of its Members over more than 36 years. It has a strong membership of 446 plus members consisting of leading Promoters and Builders of Pune and PCMC which accounts for about 70% of the construction activities in Pune Metro area.
The CREDAI-Pune Metro office is located at Nucleus Jeejeebhoy Tower, Office No. T-1, T- 2, T-3, 3rd floor, Church Road, Pune 411 001, Maharashtra, India. The Association is ISO 9001 2015 certified. The Association is headed by the President, Six Vice Presidents, Hon. Secretary, Jt. Hon. Secretary, and Hon. Treasurer who are elected by the Members. In order to support the Office Bearers there is a Managing committee consisting of 14 members who are also elected by the Members.
The members of the CREDAI-Pune Metro observe Code of Conduct issued which brings transparency. CREDAI-Pune Metro also has the grievance cell to redress the grievances against the members. It has seventeen Expert Committees including committees for Taxation, Finance, Government Liasioning, Labour Welfare, Environment and Energy, Exhibition and Website, Training etc. CREDAI-Pune Metro closely works with Government, Urban Local Bodies and Semi-Government agencies and takes initiative in policy formation. CREDAI-Pune Metro discharges various Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) directly and through its Members. It undertakes health Checkup camps, crèches, Immunization Programs, Doorstep schools for the children of the labours working at construction sites. CREDAI-Pune Metro has issued Safety Manual to their member which is one of the important aspects for the site personnel to know and follow.
CREDAI-Pune Metro since the inception has always been at the forefront of understanding the needs of its buyers. Property Exhibition is just one of many such initiatives the Association has undertaken from its inception. The Property Exhibition provides its members an ideal platform to showcase their developments and properties in a congenial environment to their prospective buyers / investors. CREDAI-Pune Metro has its own website which projects products of the member developers, updated list of CREDAI-Pune Metro members, e-news, Govt. circulars, notification and judgments to directly benefit the members. Association is in the process of upgrading the website. With the upgradation proposing to link to DC rules of PMC, PCMC & PMRDA / any other through this website. All events of CREDAI-PUNE METRO, CREDAI-MAHARASHTRA & CREDAI-NATIONAL will be linked to the website. There will be online membership application form for new members. In member’s area there will be discussion group. Also, if possible, there will be link to blogs or social media. Link will be provided to all the sites required by developers like IGR, Stamp Duty, Valuation of property, Ready Reckoner etc. Information of CSR-Activities of Members will be on the website.
